Bach to Rock (B2R), America’s music school for students of all ages, announced today several new hires and internal promotions as part of the company’s continued expansion and commitment to meeting the increased need for high-quality music education.

“Over the past several months, Bach to Rock has experienced incredible growth and increased demand for what we offer. As we continue our national expansion plans, we are excited to promote several hard-working team members that have been instrumental in the success of our schools and add new employees to the Bach to Rock family,” said Brian Gross, president of Bach to Rock. “With music and arts programs continuing to be cut due to diminishing school budgets, Bach to Rock helps meet the increased need for high-quality music education and our newest additions to the team will help us continue to meet that demand.”

Bach to Rock has promoted Danna Pantzke and Wes Tucker to assistant site directors at its schools in Bethesda, Md., and Lansdowne, Va., respectively. Pantzke and Tucker will oversee the overall operation of each school, including all facets of music programs such as B2R Glee Club, B2R Rock Band and private lessons. An award-winning mezzo-soprano, Pantzke has performed in several operas, was a featured soloist with the Southern Illinois Symphony Orchestra and toured with country band October Road. In addition to his roles as a guitar, bass and band teacher, Tucker has performed with the Annandale Symphony Orchestra and has toured Europe as primary bassist for the American Music Association’s Student Orchestra.

Matt Cummings has been promoted to music director at Bach to Rock in McLean, Va., where he will lead the school’s music curriculum. An accomplished musician at both the local and national level, Cummings has worked as a studio guitarist for numerous major recording artists and toured the East Coast with his band for the past four years. He now shares his professional experience with his students at Bach to Rock.

Joey Baham joins Bach to Rock in South Riding, Va., as the school’s new music director and teacher specializing in vocals and piano. Baham’s professional music career has spanned 30 years and has included a professional recording contract, as well as appearances in television sitcoms, commercials, international singing competitions and countless music productions. Through his coaching as a middle and high school vocal teacher, his students went on to perform at national competitions and Carnegie Hall.

Bach to Rock also has hired Erfan Zarger as a .net developer. In this role, he will be responsible for designing, coding and testing new software applications that will be utilized throughout the Bach to Rock system, as well as enhancing existing systems. A proficient C# developer, Zarger was previously a web developer with the University of Maryland in College Park, Md.

In 2013, Inc. magazine named Bach to Rock one of the fastest-growing private companies in America for the third consecutive year and Franchise Times ranked the company on its Next 300 Franchise Systems list. Last year, the Washington Business Journal named Bach to Rock the number one company to watch and Washington Family Magazine readers also voted it Best Music Instruction winner.

Bach to Rock is currently seeking qualified candidates to open franchise locations in major metropolitan markets throughout the country. Bach to Rock is an opportunity for entrepreneurs to build a business that is dedicated to helping children and adults learn to play the music they love. While music experience or ability is not necessary, candidates should bring strong business acumen and the ability to build teams to ensure the school’s success.
